You can interpret this as you wish: as a plea to God or a plea for someone to love me unconditionally * [bodytext] => Please hold me close to you
I can't cope on my own
In this eternal downward spiral
Screaming in the depression
Bleeding for a glimpse of you
Please heal my broken heart
I can feel the tears forming
Please dry them as they start to fall
Please hold me close
And love me through my faults
I'm closing my eyes
To block out the noise
And praying you'll stand beside me
And never let me fall
I need to see your face
And feel your arms around me
Please hold me close
And never let me go

God is the only one who loves us unconditionally. People just can't, but He can. I know because He loves me that way. He never lets us down. Good write as always.
I will say a prayer for you.

This was very heartwrenching yet so well written. It was easy to see the pain inside through your descriptive verses.I took it as a plea to God,and do know He is always with you and watching over you.He never gives us more than we can handle. As for that special someone, hang in there, when the time will come, your pleas will be answered not only by God,but by someone loving you unconditonnally as well.Much love to you always,
PumpkinPie

You say in your authors note that this isnt very good..I am forced to call you a liar sir. This is heartfelt, honest and simply a work of emotional art.

Words spoken from the heart.Where better to pour from??
Simplistic honesty is rare.I love the way these words just really speak volumes to me.More than if they were prettied up with frills.
Aside from having to tell you that this is a very moving piece,I have to say Joel...never critique your own work.Maybe to you its not good enough but to someone out there,it touches on their pleas and wishes as well. The reader can really identify with these feelings.I know these feelings,I've been there,we all have at some stage.Hang in there and never forget what I once told you...
You are special and unique in your own right.Remember this Joel.

Thank you for sharing your heart.
(((joel)))

Raw with honesty and it twisted my heart strings into knots. This came from the depth of your soul and it is my favorite by you. I commend you and praise this one highly.

Hey Joel, after reading the other comments I have some as well. I don't agree with the whole god theory, but I do believe that you will find someone who will love you unconditionally... maybe you already have and you just dont realize it yet... or maybe you do still have to look... but how are you going to find that person if you don't trust anyone with your feelings...??? and trust me, you'll know when you find the right person, the one who loves you unconditionally... give each person enough rope to hang themselves if they ***** up and cross you... you'll find someday that you're giving one person more rope with time and they don't hang themselves.... i'll talk to you more this weekend....

((JOEL)), I wish we lived closer! This was such a sad, honest write. I think you said everything and you said it with such genuine talent and poise.
