I am the one and only great ancient vampire
There is no higher
There has been much written about me from
Pandora, Lestat, and Ovid
And now I give you the key to my endless enigma
Written by me
I was born in Rome back in 30 B.C.
Into the family of a Roman senator, an illegitimate son
Of a Celtic princess.
My family was in favor with the Emperor
Augustus Caesar
In 10 B.C. I became a scholar, and a chronicler
I started traveling from the Baltic Sea, to the Black Sea
And in my wanderings I would visit Ovid who still
Lives in exile since 8 B.C.
In 5 B.C. I had met Pandora, then Lydia
A ten year old daughter of a highborn Roman
I had asked for permission to betroth to her,but
I was turned down by her father
But on February 15, 1 B.C. Lydia and I again came to meet
At the Lupercalia
At this time, I had, already had thirteen volumes under me
Back in the spring of the year 9 I was working on my history
In Massilia, and at that time I was captured by the Keltoi
And I was taken North, and kept as a prisoner
What are they going to do with me I would wonder
Then November1, 9 the day of the feast of Samhain
I was taken to the God of the Grove to be made
Into his successor
After my transformation I managed to escape
And no us vampires don’t use capes
I had fled to Egypt to fulfill the God’s wish
And to find out what happened to their kind all over the world
Hmm what a whirl
In the month of December of the year 9
I had settled down in Alexandria, and followed the summoning
Of Akasha
I had found out that the Queen and the King of the vampires
the fount of our power, where left in the sun by their keeper
This is the cause of the destruction of their fledglings
Then in the underground Temple I had learned the legends
The legends of the blood drinkers
At this time I had stolen Akasha, and Enkil
I had also stolen all of the ancient scrolls, that I could find
In the year 10 I settled down in Antioch on the Orontes
This is where I made a sanctuary for Akasha, and Enkil
I also continued with my research of the history,
The history of the blood drinkers, and their worship
What a trip
I killed every burnt blood drinker who came to the city
Seeking the blood of Akasha, and Enkil
And then on October 15th in the year 19 I had met Pandora
In the Temple of Isis, this wasn’t so nice
She was claiming to see the nightmares of blood drinkers
Then on October 16th same year A burnt blood drinker Akbar
Mortally wounded Pandora, and I had to make her into a vampire
And that is when we had started living together
We had lived together in the company of Pandora’s mortal
Steward, Flavius
Well I think I have told you enough history about me for
This time, but before I finish, you all must know this
I am beyond all devils and angels
I am beyond all man kind
I can take your life, without any care in the world
No matter if you are a boy or girl
Man or woman
I am not someone, that the world forgets about
However in your humble little life, I can take you out
I would your rip soul from the depths of your chest
And crush it in the palm of my hands
Your eager minds, can not let you see all of reality
As Lestat said we are here, we are everywhere
It is just a pity and a shame that you can not see
what your life, could never be [comments] => 2 [counter] => 141 [topic] => 13 [informant] => Rylo [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
