[hometext] => this poem was written several years ago on the banks of the Stehekin River in Washington State. I had been traveling for a year Ny, to Ohio, to Mi, to Montana, Alaska, than washington, it came to me as a song and i've remembered it ever since.
[bodytext] => I am on the road again, and i don't know where i'm bound like a bend in a river, the next stretch is unknown i can't see around that curve, and i don't know what i might find, but i am not afraid. i'll take each curve as it comes just flow along on my way where i'm bound hey i don't know but i know its a place i've gotta go what lies in store hey i can't see but i don't care long as i'm wild and free you can't cage a river and you can't cage me but many will try and many will see that the river is wild and the river is free so am i and i will always be.
