Not to have a picture of you,
All the others could present
Faces, both old and new.
All of them was beautiful,
Smiles left at home,
Homes full of smiles:
That’s what they meant.
And I had no such thing.
But then came the fire and the rain,
All the women faded away.
All the pictures looked like
Long gone memories.
And then came the night.
And among storm clouds,
Which only pass by
But don’t let any rain out,
You were in the sky.
But not like on a photo,
You weren’t polluted with mud,
All your locks on their place,
And your eyes weren’t sharp,
Looking up the sun, ’cause it was dark.
You were a patchwork of stars,
You were perfect.
And noone understood why
I was smiling at night, in fear.
Just because my soul can’t be torn,
If my hand can never caress you again,
Let my thought do so.

Great job.
