Take it all away
After you've given it
(To me)
Take it all away
That's all you do anyway
But with your taking
You'll slowly bound yourself
(To me)

And I'm giving myself away
So that I'm not stolen
And broken within
The chance to live free
Was taken again
And you keep taking pieces
(Of me)
And you keep breaking them
I'm left with shards
(Of me)

That are to be glued together
But by that time
Some pieces of me
Will have been thrown away
And I'm left incomplete
And I'm without a heart
Among other things
So what is left of me?
I'm nothing anymore
And its your fault
For taking me and breaking me
It's too late to regain

Take It All Away

Take it all away
After you've given it
(To me)
Take it all away
That's all you do anyway
But with your taking

I felt exactly like the descriptions in your poem at one time. Deep heartache and feeling like the missing pieces of myself were gone forever. A part of me screamed that I wanted them back. It didn't happen over night but slowly I am finding all those pieces and I think i'm stronger now. I hope the same happens for you.

An emotional & moving poem. I liked it.

A good write..Alot of very well wrote descriptions here also. I love the last line as well..Good to find this one.
