Array ( [sid] => 43645 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Remember? [time] => 2004-04-17 15:20:46 [hometext] => This poem really expresses a lot for me. It holds a special place in my heart. I hope I always remember. [bodytext] => Remember when the days passed by within hours?
When all you had to worry about making sure your new shirt matched your old jumper and the bows in your hair?
Remember when boys were diseased, and a single touch meant certain death?
When you used to know exactly how you felt?
How about now?
When waiting for something only a week is an eternity?
When hours are spent in preparation before going out somewhere where that special one is going to be?
When all you want to do is hold that person?
When feelings have no true labels? Anger has become uneasiness. Happiness has become arrognace. Hate has become guilt. Love has become the unknown.

Gosh yes I remember! Thanks to you I remember so many things forgotten. When you're an adult so many things that were relevant in childhood or as a teenager are irrelevant now. Or so you tell yourself and then you read a poem like this and go WOW!

Very original and I am just so happy to have read it. Thank you.

Kie
