She wanted to see
But darkness covered her eyes
She was a princess
Until she learned the world had lied

She ran to her blanket
Alone in the woods
She covered her eyes
But nothing could
Take away the pain
She came to realize

Alone in a blanket with stains
She turned to the moon
With tears in her eyes
Apollo Idled
Before rain came from the skies

----Alive she cried----

Wet with heavens tears
She arised
Sadden with the weight
Of the world on her side
She cried, She cried

She moved to the lake
And swallowed her pride
She thought of what she could take
But knew inside
There was only one way to save this ride
So she sceamed aloud
Hoping to run away the clouds

----Alive she cried----

She fell to her knees
On the mountain top
To plead, oh please
I'm alive
She cried
I'm alive

And with all of her breath
She came to rest
At the feet of another
And he cried

YOU'RE ALIVE
I THOUGHT YOU HAD DIED
I WAS DEAD
FIGHTING WITH MY HEAD
I COULDN'T SURVIVE
THE THOUGHT OF YOU
NOT BEING ALIVE
NOW I CAN FIND
A PLACE IN THIS WORLD
FOR US
WE'RE ALIVE

----ALIVE SHE CRIED---
