Of the sorry tale of DJ Terry McHale,
Who one summer night got an awful fright
When surprised by a fox swallowed a jukebox.

Now I can tell this tale rings a bell,
That you've heard it somewhere when afflicted by beer,
But I'm telling you this version is true,
It may make you merry what happened to DJ Terry.

North and south DJ Terry had a big mouth,
Above the din he'd shout as the kids danced about,
Never known to be a bore he had a right big jaw,
So big he'd never hide, often had mouth open wide.

One night an awful fall he had from a stall,
The party under way his music he was about to play,
He'd dropped the latest J Lo hard on his toe,
Cried so very loud as he fell towards the crowd.

As up came the ground a sly fox did bound,
Changed way he'd go, saw jukebox and shouted "no!",
But unable to change nor mid stream to rearrange,
Crowd called out "doh!" as jukebox he gulped whole.

Doctors tried so hard, very, to extract from DJ Terry
But they cried "Holy cow!" as they couldn't work out how,
So if you tweak one of his nipples the throng gives a ripple,
As his body plays "Only the Lonely". [comments] => 3 [counter] => 193 [topic] => 7 [informant] => jonteD [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => HumorPoetry )
