Probing my mind, driving you insane
Looking for answers, what makes me tick, tock
When you finally find them, you may get a shock

I lurk in the shadows of darkness, waiting for my prey
Slit their throats so swiftly, then I slip away
Do I do it out of madness, do it out of fun
Waiting for the next night, awaiting my return

My victims have been many, different ages too
Makes me smile and snigger, watching crimson blood spew
They will never catch me, not even coming near
There's one to many shadows, in which I disappear

So what is the answer, to my deep fried brain
I am not certified, I am not insane
I am just a nightmare, recurring in your head
You better hurry and waken, before I make you dead
