Christmas Dolly was all ready to go
But poor Christmas Dolly had made a mistake
The bag of toys she took was indeed fake
She pushed them down chimneys without a clue
Queen Dolly watching wondered what to do.
On Christmas Day the children woke
Their toys sprang out and started to choke
The little girls and boys started to scream
Mummy and Daddy awoke from their dreams
T'was their worst nightmare, but nobody knew
T'was the evil deed of Mr Santy Clause, 'tis true.
Christmas Dolly was banished from the land
Santy Clause was chosen by popular demand
Nobody knows the fate of Christmas Dolly
Nobody knows Santy Clause isn't really jolly
Poor Christmas Dolly, she sits upon the tree
Watching children laughing, staring miserably. [comments] => 6 [counter] => 179 [topic] => 13 [informant] => Queen_Dolly [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 13 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

Well, I am shocked and dismayed to say the least! Who knew? Thanks for the heads up. I will watch the old guy from now on. (walks away disgusted with Santy)
