so sickly, he knows it, he says he'll dance for the next day
it's just another foul play
see through the town and find i've found nothing
but i'll chance another day with you
do everything you want to do, do what i want to do
slip a grin through a camel at the drive-through
best of my knowledge you could say that i tried to
and i'll take with you a life that can't be worse
i won't lie it's the strangest to live on rehearse
living on a week show and i just might be the same
what once was lame i think for now i'm game, you say

"i won't think it twice
to cut this mess out
stupid time day to day
maybe, but wait
i won't think it twice
i'm stuck with nothing else
all right..."

this road untold, it's closed, there's nothing to grab ahold
in a minute we'll go down it, with no other way around it
running out of room there's no mistake
with little left to prove i won't even take a break
i won't drop, come along this won't flop
with a hit miss timing, running south of the clock
i know i messed up, took a chance upon a nothing
then i messed again with you a friend, i say
how do i run back in tune
this mess of chaos swings by so soon
how do i run right in tune
with this mess where you say

"i won't think it twice
to cut this mess out
stupid time day to day
maybe, hey wait
i won't think it twice
i'm stuck with nothing else
all right..."

i think better with the ocean sighting in
it might be the cascade lighting is inviting
i think better when i'm with the best of friends
and your drop kick measure rolls in my eyes
when you come to it kills in sweet surprise
and that could be just right, all right

when your ship came down, you hit every wall rightly
the silky whipsps, the frown on your lips
each thought came to be surmised
on hardbenched seats and bags of fries
those days we could only hope for the best
you'll cut quickly, i've been impressed
that smirk evil smile before every mess
catches each our face, one take in drama distress
soon... i'll get eerie...
and we'll be hopeless...
still that's what i want to do
just a moment now

it feels like home is broken thrown around
i can't care to stay upon that ground, oh no
well i won't try to a new life
this won't be pretend cased upon a dead end face
and that will be all right, it might

i won't think it twice
to cut this mess out
wait... maybe, hey wait
i won't think it twice
i'm stuck with nothing else
all right
all right
all right
all right

this road untold, it's closed, there's nothing to grab ahold
in a minute we'll go down it, with no other way around it
no way around this life... [comments] => 7 [counter] => 211 [topic] => 16 [informant] => remy [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => FriendshipPoetry )
