Loving the silence.
I am not afraid of it
Anymore.

When you are here beside me,
Looking how you do,
It's all good!
I don't need to know anything
Unless you're telling.

I'm just holding out hope,
Because you're hanging to this moment,
And all others,
By the skin of my heart.
But I won't voice that yet,
Let's just allow the night
Unsaid.

And when you're inside my thoughts
I am wishing for you...
You're a want in me
And a rare beauty,
Unspoken like a law
As gravity is holding down my words
To join my heart
While we are courting quiet.

So let's drown it all out
And, well, we'll speak together,
Swapping tongues, sharing breath.
We'll go without a voice
But read minds instead
And study the language of this
Lip to lip.

Because I am not afraid now.
I am silently happy
And loving it so. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 185 [topic] => 55 [informant] => reilt [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )

Reading this reminds me of a few of my favourite songs by Lifehouse
One by the title 'hanging by a moment'
And also sparked by 'I don’t need to know anything...unless you’re telling', recollection of the song "breathing":
"I am hanging on every word your saying
Even if you don’t want to speak tonight
That’s alright, alright with me
'Cuz I want nothing more than to sit outside heavens door
And listen to you breathing"

Reading your words made my heart ache, you are so lucky to feel the way you do. Never let go.
