[hometext] => Actually I don't think this would qualify as "lost love" poetry. Electrorotica might be more like it.
[bodytext] => Betsy is not human,
this time. Oh her head’s all right, but her body’s shape fades, between her normal two legged self, and a traffic cone that floats, an inch over any surface, about the size, of a gas station pump. Her clothes change shape, depending on which form she wears. But the mouth is the thing that I just can’t deal with. From a distance she looks fine. But when she takes a closer look at me, slowly rocking back and forth, floating with the guidance of gyroscopes the whirring of fly wheels grows it’s clear she doesn’t have teeth, but counter digits, just like your car’s odometer. There are eight of them. Not just numbers though, letters, she has not spelled any words though. The digits in the readout spin, in a blur. She has not set feelings about me yet, I think she’s still processing.
