All I have to give is friendship.
I can no longer give my lips.
We grew in separate ways.
Too many frays.
This was your decision
So may it be your lesson.
You say I’m love struck.
But lets face it I’m dumbstruck
I have grown but not changed.
We have become estranged.
Taken two of your ‘friends’ to get us in contact.
What we have certainly lacked.
These two friends also mine.
Now isn’t that an ironic line.
Neither of us close to these two friends.
Yet they helped us make amends.
Months passed by,
By luck should I bump into one of them.
If I hadn’t would I be writing this poem?
