slip away through the floor.
As they fall from my eyes,
They leave stains on my face
that nothing can wash away.
As I look in the mirror, I see
swollen eyes and a tear streaked face.
I see memories behind my eyes
that no tear can remove.
The memories just remain there,
Waiting for a chance to pop back
into my mind.
Pop back just so I'll have to cry again.
How can I stop these tears from falling?
How can I make these memories stop
being so painful?
That is a mystery that will never be solved.
I guess there will always be
Tears That Fall. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 211 [topic] => 32 [informant] => Tiny_mo [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )

Beautiful again. The memories fade with new ones, of happier times and greater loves. Yes time measures it for us. Thanks for sharing.
