[hometext] => I wrote this poem in math class today, it took me about an hour. It's basically about my past relationship-- now that I look back on it I can see all the different phases. Anyway, please check it out and comment so I can edit it later on! :)
[bodytext] => Today will be better then yesterday You promised me so Please don't wake me up I need this sweet dreaming Sit at my bed Make sure I keep breathing... This is when I'm alive Nothing will hold me back I'll dream And in my dream We're together again You're so perfect So beautiful So untouchable You'll pick me up when I fall And hold my hand when I'm scared You promised you'd always be there Nothing could ever part us You have my trust, my love... my life I wake up from my dream And long for you F*ck you For making me so vulnerable My heart beats so fast My eyes swell up with empty tears I call for you I've been screaming for you for so long That my lips are blistered and bleeding My vision is gone You promised you'd be here You promised today would be better... I'm left to blame I believed your lies I had no other choice Everytime you would talk I'd lose myself in you In your mind Now I'm the one left at fault I'm the one left lingering in the past I was always leaning on you When you left I fell I fell so hard It was so painful I searched for stable ground My search led me to you I was in your sight But in fear of falling with me You turned your head You've gotten so far You didn't want to be held back With fresh blood dripping From my razorblades cuts And tears dripping From my tear-stained cheeks I told you I understood You promised everything would be better As you silently walked away... As time went by The promises remained empty Your calls were so distant and short 'It's a whole different world here' You would repeat I didn't f*cking care! This is my world And you were supposed to be in it But now I have to tell you I've found stable ground This time i found it in myself I'm stronger then I ever was before But still from time to time I'm weakened When I see your face And remember your touch I'm still left with Empty dreams Thanks for reading!
