[bodytext] => It stormed again last night, Just as it has been doing in my life. The wind was whipping to and fro, Not caring which direction it would blow. The lightning was flashing, a constant in the sky, Thunder rumbling a deeply haunting cry. Rain, so hard that it pounded in my head, Fear had me trembling as I hid in my bed. I couldn’t help, but to think, how this patterned my life, How shattered I’ve felt, going through such pain and strife. Yet here I am this morning, the storm has gone away, Clouds have disappeared, I can feel the sun on my face. Just like the sun, my hopes have risen again, In the light of day, I realize I have a Friend. He is the Son, the One who calms the storm, No matter if it is physical or literal in form. He is the One, who chases my fears away, With one word from Him, the storms of life must stray. His name is Jesus, this One who truly cares, Whatever the problem, my every burden He bears. All that He asks in return for this load, Is that I freely give Him my heart and my soul.
