Time Bombs

Contributed by paper-heart-hero on Sunday, 11th April 2004 @ 06:41:38 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

I know everything you’re thinkin
Bout the chances that you’re takin
I’ll prove I’m worth the stress and I’ll keep you floating
I will block out all the voices
I will help you with your choices
I’ll prove that I am the best and I’ll keep you knowing

We will live this life like it is our own
And if we want we’ll take the long way home
They won’t stop us now
They won’t hear a sound
We will keep this love
Six feet underground
I will bleed before they take you from me
You will dream before they make you come clean
I am, I am
Worth a last stand

Plastic explosives and empty clips
Bring soaking eyes and slightly shaking lips
We know this is so glorious
We will burn out before we’re dust
And if those bastards think I’m wrong
They can all grab on and come along for the ride

We will live this life like it is our own
And if we want we’ll take the long way home
They won’t stop us now
They won’t hear a sound
We will keep this love
Six feet underground
I will bleed before they take you from me
You will dream before they make you come clean
I am, I am
Worth a last stand

Don’t cry don’t cry
It went right through
Just apply pressure
It’ll be over soon
I knew this was the time
To leave you behind
Don’t let them get you too

Spread my ashes and tell me you love me now
I’ll watch over you, an angel from six feet down

Wow... I can't believe you haven't gotten any comments before this cause these are some of the best lyrics I've ever seen. Just magical. Thank you for sharing you heart in this one... And I lvoe the whole Bonnie and Clyde feel of it. Perfection.
