I am triumphant

I have my guilt – my nightmares I have seen the faces of my prosecutors and I have spat at them with all of my being – acid to burn their faces

They have torn at my flesh – tasted my blood – and through it all I stood triumphant
I took each blow as a test and each nail as an exam

I was chained to their hatred – their minds – their warped sense of sexuality and through it all I stood triumphant

I raised my army of strength and power – with my angels by my side I fought my demons and we were triumphant

It is my time to be loved – my time to heal my time to make my record – like Moses found his tablets of record of law of unbinding commandments

So shall I – I will not be a victim – I will hold my own and turn my scars to bones and make me strong – make me stand tall again to guide my sprits to dance away to a better world – together we will explore

I take my strength and passion and pass it over to the world to share it - to make my light shine in everyone I meet

To share my message – I WILL STAND TRIAMPHANT OVER MY DEMONS

"That which does not kill us only makes us stronger."

I don't know what you went through, though I have a guess from some of the images, but you made it.

And now have decided to take that force that drove you through this and spread it to others.

This write seems to have a more "eye for an eye" sense about it at the beginning ("and I have spat at them with all my being"), which I couldn't really get into. But towards the end I was supremely impressed. There were still traces of the eye for an eye ("I will not be a victim"), but overall I saw more of a turn the other cheek approach ("turn my scars to bones"). Which I loved, I thought it was superb.
A nice write. (and really lives up to its title I think.)

God bless,
Ellen
