Last Night

Last night the Angels
Came down to take a look
To see a heart so special
God wrote her in His book

As they watched her sleep
Gods tender voice they heard
And with the softest arms of love
They obeyed His gentle word

“Pick her up gently”
“She’s so very special to me”
“ And tonight I declare her heart”
“Perfect and free”

“ Open wide the gates”
“Allow our newest Angel to enter in”
“ And let now the rejoicing”
“ Throughout heaven begin”

“ Welcome home sweet Angel”
“ My true and faithful one”
“Sit down with me and rest”
“ Your work on earth is done”

Last Night

Last night the Angels
Came down to take a look
To see a heart so special
God wrote her in His book

As they watched her sleep
Gods tender voice they heard
