The sky is really getting dark
the sun is getting low
This is the worst day of my life
didn't think you would really go
I thought I'd always have you
you've been here all these years
Now there is this empty place
I can't breathe through all these tears
I will try to make you proud
do what you taught me to
But I can't make you any promises
I really need to talk with you
Was this really in His plan
to take you from me now
I will try to carry on with life
but I really don't know how
Momma, you know I've always loved you
please come and take me by the hand
We can walk along life's beaches
our footprints together in the sand
I guess that may just have to wait
till we meet again on high
I love you Mom, I miss you so
how can I ever say goodbye

This is for my Mother, Sylvia M. Hartman.
April 18, 1925--November 11,2000
She has gone on to God to wait for us there.
We miss you Mom.
I love you.
