You stand there preaching to me, about things I know

"God loves you", I hear you say
"Jesus died for your sins" you say
"This is the body and the blood of Christ" you say

I say, you are the one who cannot see
You preach to me things you understand
You tell me "god loves you", when you yourself don't know him
You offer me communion, things of this earth, meaningless to my spirit

For my spirit has already found him, you are only still searching.......

True-- God can't be found by forcing Him at others. He's inside and all around. Glad you can say that you've found Him.... I'm still searching myself.....

Keep the faith

Now, this poem makes a pretty good point. And how does he know that God loves you?...You could be a "worker of iniquity" or one of those "wicked" that: "God is angry at every day". I'm sure you probably are not-- but how does he know? You wrote something that needs to be read, especially by people who presume to speak for God.

For who God has touched, this is a beautiful write. Well, its beautiful nonetheless, and I find so much truth in it. Maybe I avoid faith because it is so force fed to us... well, glad your search of God has ended, but mine I suppose has just begun. Thank you for the inspiration. Great write.
