A black, heavy night, loathsome to be
Strange stars, and cosmic green atmosphere
I walk here alone, but with thousand eyes staring

A full moon sends white rays of blinding light
I hear chanters in the woods, unknown and unspoken
The black forest will swallow me, I am sure
As I walk a path which will lead me to madness

Tolerate the crawling, and faceless faiths
I walk among colorless trees and shapes
A reddish saviour, a fire which burns
But I am lost, I cannot reach the stars

Leave me now, I will bear my burden
In the woods of darkness I witness their dance
In compulsion, or delirium, I join them in chaos
A feast of the Great, a fiction of truth

Symbols are painted on the statue of Ithaqua
Blood is shed, as the stars bring their light
A sound is heard, and the rhytm grows slower
Two gleaming stars burning bright - Like eyes [comments] => 4 [counter] => 150 [topic] => 13 [informant] => gothicangel [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
