Is what he seemed to me.
Calm one moment, wild the next,
A goblin clothed in beauty.

His eyes like dark swirls of night,
His lips like a rosebud slash.
His skin like a creamy cup of coffee,
His body alive, about to crash.

His essence was something to capture in a bottle,
Wear it and you'd never die.
He made you feel you'd never really lived,
He'd look at you and you'd touch the sky.

His kisses were the stuff of dreams,
Electricity coursing through your veins.
His touch would send fevers rising,
Just thinking about it melted your brains.

But he got on the wrong side of a gun,
And felt the bullets searing hot kiss.
He fell to the floor, face still alive,
And thanked God it had ended like this.

Adventure was always a part of his life,
And this felt like a fitting stop.
His funeral was huge, people mourned,
But his tombstone read, "I reached the top." [comments] => 2 [counter] => 172 [topic] => 43 [informant] => Wolfareen [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

Woo that was sensuous, intriguing and tragic rolled into one, and the inscription on his tombstone was fitting. Well done, another great write.
