"I WANT TO STAY HOME?"

This man wanted to stay home,
trade places with his wife.
He prayed, "Please let me be a housewife?"
The next morning he awoke, a woman in every way!
He cooked breakfast, awakened the kids,
packed lunches.
Set out their clothes, drove them to school
in bunches!!

Came home picked up the dry cleaning
and took it to the cleaners.
Stopped at the bank to make a deposit.
Library books for learners.
Grocery shopping, paid the bills
balanced the check book!
Cleaned the cat's litter, bathed the dog
then the rugs were shook!

Already 1 p.m. he hurried to make the beds.
Do the laundry, vacuum, dust, sweep,
wash all the spreads
Ran to school to pick up the children.
Had an argument on the way home.....
was beaten.

Potatoes were peeled about 5:30 late.
Washed vegetables, lettuce for salad.
then pork chops, and beans, for eight.
After supper, he cleaned the kitchen,
run the dishwasher.
Folded the laundry, bathed the kids,
put them to bed, real bummer!

When 9 p.m. rolls around, he was exhausted!
But, was expected to make love,
he nearly fainted.
He managed to get through it all
without complaint!
Being a woman at home isn't what
it should be....it ain't!

The next morning he quickly kneels
on his knees
"Lord, I don't know what I was thinking, could
I please go back, pretty please?"
The Lord answered, "My son I feel you have
learned what is right....
But, you'll have to wait nine months now,
you got pregnant last night!!!"
