A mystic poet, penned a magic ode.
Corralling thoughts beyond sublime.
His muse, transcendent, overflowed.

Willingly spilling all that he was,
on page after page.
Elegantly detailing his spirit, line by line.
All his joy,laughter,sadness,despair and rage.
Came fully to life by his design.

Not just as memories from his minds shelf.
But his all, till naught of him was left.
Word spinning, and weaving his very self.
Every last strand of his spirits warp and weft.

Exquisite detail was his chosen flesh.
His multi-faceted life journey,
was his choice of bone.
His spirit message that made both of
these things mesh.
Was loves eternal mandate/quest,
with honest simplicity, driven home.

Thus by his longing, so intense.
That his life's desire be manifest.
Shaped by fate,will, consequence,
wisdoms pearls,and foolish jest.

Forged in fires of lifes influence.
Lifes heat and hammer
to shape and temper true.
Revealing in its every nuance.
All he'd lived,felt,thought,and knew.

Once upon a cosmic rhyme.
A mystic poet penned a magic ode.
Alas! No one took the time.
To read and reap the harvest
that this poet's spirit sowed.
Therefore, no one recieved the learning.
Why such a seed as this was ever sown.
The answer, none were discerning?
T'was done to free his spirit
from the prison of being alone.

Now mystic poets, magic odes,
and muses that have overflowed,
are few and far between, it's true.
you never ever know,tho,
when one such as this once again will sow.
Such a thing as this, for someone to view.
Yet, I believe that something like this,
can, and has occured.
This being exactly the kind of thing,
that mystic poets,
are about,
and are likely to do.
Or...,
so i've heard.
I sure hope it is true. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 156 [topic] => 49 [informant] => rhymeandreason [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => mystical )
