What have I done? Fallen with graceless fortunes
Into a crosswind I cannot control its direction
And all is lost in the lack of judgment
Sentenced to solitary confinement
When all thoughts arrive at one conclusion
Wasted year after year until ended
In solemn ceremony I was buried
Dressed in misfortune and lamenting
Lived only for obligations to others
Invisible to myself - I failed the test
Lived unseen and disavowed of contentment
Until you entered with quiet intimation
Perhaps we were ideally suited
To pick up the scattered pieces
Find something we could call love
And make two halves whole again
Racing up and into the mountains
We could stay there along the horizon
Sharing secrets and tender kisses
Caressing my mind with your thoughts
We were wounded and left in the trenches
Struggling to find constancy
You took my hand and I was rescued
Let me warm you, bring you back to the living
Did I hear you say, we could love each other?

Oh Merry, I know this feeling. It is all consuming. It cares not who or what comes into its path. You have described it with finesse as always.

Even if we weren't the best of friends...I would still love your writing. Your heart and soul lies before me on this page once again. I wish you sooo much happiness ((( sis))).

No one deserves it more that you.
