in the mean time you're leaving
a midlife crisis of death
i watched you fall between the cracks
after you stop and laugh

i watched you fall between the cracks
another mishap
a miscommunication of ghosts
loss of hope
the love we share
in a place where cigarettes go
their glow
their loss of hope to show
