My own weaknesses has been my downfall in romance.
But with you I forgot and just took a chance.

You were the only time I didn't feel used.
WIth others I was always the one to lose.
I may not tell you all that I feel.
Just know every word I do say is truly real.

You have helped make me feel whole once again.
Through your words, your love, just being a friend.
I truly can' t explain all that you have done.
My battle feels so close to being won.

So one last night I will give to you.
Then I must leave and do what I must do.
Say goodbye to those I still think about.
And say goodbye to any feelings of doubt.

For I have promised my love to another.
And I can not let him down.
Please move on from me adn try not to frown.
For I will disappear from you without making a sound. My willingness to feel vulnerable is what scares me.

By promising your love to one you do not really love is only letting yourself down. Go with your heart...it will never betray you.

The bible actually Lia says that the heart is treacherous!!!.thought u knew the bible well.
