Lost a friend today
Or shall I say…gave one up
But was it for the best?

Felt so crowded, had to break free
Turned my back on all my friends
With all my insecurities and doubts
They are better off without me

I cannot ask for forgiveness
I have asked for too much
I cannot ask for understanding
When my own thoughts are in a mess

I understand my flaws
I realize why I have no friends
Always asking for their help
Never able to give in return

At the time it seemed the right thing to do
I said goodbye and waited for a reply
A simple Why? Would of made me stay
Or at least rethink my decision

However the answer I got in return
Shows me I would not be missed
The tears came to my eyes
But did not fall, for I am strong

What a sad poem! My my what a problem but first admitting you was wrong and taking the blame is the first step. Try to ask for forgiveness, maybe show them this poem. (Well hope it works don't want to giva a bad advise) The poem was very well written! Best wishes!
