Images of you and me - impossibly clear
Thoughts and conversations in my head
Revolving around this fantasy – reality
Blended into surrealistic pillow dreams
Tentative at first now fired by encouragement
Your words suggest more than say
That we are bound in a special way
Like attracts like and we are the same
Hedonistic and arrogant
Blended by life’s experience
Of intolerable cruelty
Put up walls to keep love out
Yet it creeps like errant vine
Seeking opportunity
While we play at being nonchalant
In face of such carnal attraction
Sometimes breathless from screaming
What chance do we have?

Oh after I read the theme "internet love" I realised what this poem was about. Hmm it's really difficult to separate fact from fiction. Well not only internet Lol In my case I spend years thinking that vampires where real *lol now I laugh at my own stupidity* Awesome write!

Yep, you did it again Merry ... I can't see the nail anymore, you've hit it on the head so many times :)) Just take care of that heart of yours ok? @-->-->-- (hey, I've only just worked out how to do these roses on the computer, so bear with me) :))) hugs Jan
