Postmortem seizure of the brain
Darkness grows blacker when you close your eyes
Watch the visions of murder drive you insane.

Flick off the light and strike a match
Drive your car headfirst into a tree
Find protection in an Achilles heel
All this just for the chance to be set free.

Primp in the mirror for hours
Magnify and multiply every last eyelash
Make up your gorgeous face
And try to make this moment last.

Simply slit the vein and get it over with
Change of pace to save an hour
Happiness governs a growing depression
When you live your life as a coward.

Break me off a little piece
Drive your claws further into my back
Suicide and depression are an ongoing battle
Use a hangnail to plan your attack.

I can feel the cold, agonizing pain whirling forth from each word and embedding inside of my heart. This is a solid write, and the amount of emotion you have squeezed into it is staggering.

Truly,
-V.S.
