I'm ready
Gonna feel the flowing soon
Keep the rhythm, patten, rhyme
It's poetry writing mode
Now I am focused,
I've got my thoughts all separated
Making steady rhythm
To make it all come together
I use my words to think
It's times like these
When I could write about anything,
Yeah, that's poetry writing mode.
Give me a minute
I've got to write this down
Where's my pen and paper?
I've got it started
Finding my exact expression
Oh yeah, this is poetry writing mode
Write on anything
Any inspiration
Any sudden bright idea
Keep it on my brain
And write till my fingers are numb
Nothing can stop me now
Look at this,
A written emotion
No longer just some words
A circus of anxious letters,
Rushing to make the ending fit
Yeah that was poetry writing mode
And who knows when it will come again?

Great poem, I had the same thing happen to me a couple of weeks ago, words just appearing in my head all at once, had to write it down quick! Calmed down a bit now, need more inspiration again. Well done anyway,

Ali xx
