[title] => I'll be your sunshine, Dear

[hometext] => This is, I repeat, this is not a poem for a lover, but rather a very close friend of mine.
[bodytext] => Faeries of brackish waves do their little dance around my nose while the sun is bronzing my skin sending it's rays to add a new pigment and it's funny how all I can think about is him walking down the boulevard the pavement disowning my feet with every step frantic people rushing their little bodies to huge companies they never fail to brush my shoulder, without a care, nor a word and it's ironic how apathetic I am, because it's he who's on my mind laying in an ocean of sheets the silk coddling my body gently and throughout the whole patter of my dramatic friends conversation of their theatrical like lives and boyfriends I can't seem to forget the million ways he made my lips curl in throwing rocks into the gentle river current watching them gall the water, sinking like their lives depended on it the rain adding a sense of relaxation to the whole scenario and the sun's setting off by the city( I can see the building lights from here) It's reminding me of the nights, the days, the hours he spent wasting his time to comfort me Locked up in a jail the society requires each of my kind to endure Passing little pale sheets of paper with scribbled notes and toning out teachers sending futile attempts to make us learn the fabricated world they make us belive in, and oh my the ceiling lights are bright blinding my eyes, but making me see, he's out there perhaps thinking of me waiting on the bus stop oak bench drawing pictures with my fingers in the overhead clouds only thinking, right this moment, about one thing the sunshine creeping through the fog that lays at bay " I'm his sunshine" I say, " And he's my rainy day " [comments] => 2 [counter] => 168 [topic] => 16 [informant] => loserxnextdoor [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => FriendshipPoetry )
