and why can He forgive a wretch like me?
I see good people, who go to roofs under
steeples to spend an hour with Him.
But I can't find the courage to let my
love flourish, for Him.
Our path He guides with giant strides,
and His love for us is overwhelming.
But yet I remain ungrateful.
My actions are so distasteful to the One
Who loves me so.
His protection is unending and His mercy
unbending, as is His love for me.
But yet I drift away and cannot stay, within
His shadow.
Oh powerful, yet gentle Man, please forever
ban the things that lead me astray, and stay
within the soul of this wretch that loves Thee!
One day I'll pass into that Land and hold His
hand, and I'll be found, and be forever sound
from that wretch that was me!
Oh, do you think that He can forgive me? I havnt seen the movie so I don't knoe the "feeling" but dont just talk about it- do something, but also be careful not to be brainwashed because movies are made to bring out certain feelings-unintentionally so be careful.
