Do I Exist
Am I in existence?
Am I nominal, known only by name, skin color or sex?
Where did I begin? Not meaning Mother or Father, but really begin
An infant, spoiled from being held to much
A child crying, from a disciplined touch
A teenager, uncertain of where to go
A woman, with no answers and afraid to say no
The alpha, the beginning and also the before
The omega, the ending,the never mind no more
Only leads me back to my nominal question
Am I in existence?

| These days we only get noticed if we're either 1. The idealic normal person perfect smile perfect hair ect, erg i hate those people, or 2. If we really stand out but then you just get insults, my friend grew his hair long and he was talking to me today actually about how someone had talked to him who had never before just because he stood out now and was angry that even though he's always been the same person inside it's only the outside people judge. Anyway blabbred too much, nice poem i like it and it obviously got me thinking. |
