This poem is acutely descriptive, elegant and alluring to my sensibilities and I am glad that you have penned it. Such vivid images; spotlights, dead sparrows, grey seas and bleary eyes . . . beautiful and poignant theme, written with your trademark ability.
Well done.

Radiant, elegant, despondent, bleak..and all in nine lines. Rich flow, and so full of life--Your talent is ever-growing, my friend.

Truly,
-V.S.

Oh my goodness....that is one heck of a poem. It's very sad and tragic and the choice of wording is excellent. Kudos.
