Drifting clouds
Scrape ever changing green
And black and white wipes

From afar
Hunting sun beams
Catch the buzzing crowd
Under many-colored sun-shades

In the distance
Flagellating waves
Infest the shores
With the moribund cachalot's lament

So far way
Persisting desert winds
Invade our ears
With dying children's sandy tears

In my ivory tower
I behold the world yonder
Through the World Wide Web

Hmn. Hunting sunbeams? I approximated that idea in my head on friday night, but forgot about it, along a dreamy commute. Perhaps for a reason, because I doubt I would have come up with as good a poem as this at the time. Nicely appropriated.
Well done.

Ahh the fabled observer of things.... you could have been writing of me it seem... an advice to this protagonist..this observer...go out once a whiles... stewing does not do the prune good... let it bake in the sun... I know from experience that being an observer is great but you lose out on participation in things...anyway that's my take... nice expressive write. I connected to it for I am an onserve per se.
