[time] => 2002-09-20 20:33:45 [hometext] => I don't know if tribute is exactly acurate, at least not a loving one. Anyway, this is about betrayal, someone speaking with a forked tongue so to say. [bodytext] => I sincerely hope it did not hurt
Falling face down in the dirt
I mean, well, I knew it could not last
But, I felt the breeze, cause you fell so fast
You had stayed up there for so long
When most don't last through one sappy song
And you know I don't mean to sound disloyal
but what the hell do you mean, Crown Royal?
(Alcohol?)
What was it you said they call that place?
(Cowboys?)
She must have had an angels face
(did it matter?)
Or maybe it was just her credit card
(how sad)
that helped you hit the ground so hard
I could almost feel the pain
If it wasn't for my sheer disdain
You know I have always had a knack
For finding the proverbial crack
But jeezel, the dam has just fallen apart
I declare a fraud; this work of art
Do you even have the grace to feel a fool
So unoriginal, your fall, from my pedastal [comments] => 1 [counter] => 173 [topic] => 38 [informant] => spaded [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Tributes )
