climbed in the chevy
and went down towm
sister brittany
stayed behind to
keep an eye on
the gray cat's kitties
all of them just newly born

she put them in a basket
outside on the front porch
so they could get
a little fresh air
but she got a bit sleepy
as the sun began to scorch
so she went back inside to nap
and left the kitties on the porch

it wasn't until she woke up
she jumped up and
rushed outside
she found the kittens were all missing and the disturbed little girl from down the street sitting on the porch
where the kittens were only a short while ago

little sissy said she'd killed the kitties and they were in the swimming pool
brittany ran around back and found them
when she saw them floating face down she began to cry and shake
how could anyone especially so young be so cruel to drown six
helpless kittens in a kiddies swimming pool so bad, so sad the kitties were no more

Very disturbed and morbide. I got a kick out of the "kittie Killer girl". Just shows life gives us what we least expect and we have to make the most of that. Good write. Best of luck.
