two people fall in love
two people buy a house
two people become one
one couple buys a pupp

life moves along

the man goes to work
the lady is soon with child
the pupp makes monsterous
holes in the garden

life moves along

the daddy goes to work
the mommy runs in circles
older sister plays dress up the dog
little brother finds his feet

life moves along

daddy builds a treehouse
out of the dog's house
mommy frowns on this
kids laugh and won't come in

life moves along

daddy gets a better job
the mommy molds minds
older sister goes to school
the boys take things apart

life moves along

daddy's runnin' the road again
mommy is baking more pies
kids are all in bed dreaming
the dog's watching tv

life moves along

daddy's truck jacks at 3am
mommy falls into a heep
baby thinks hes coming home
dog howls for days; wont sleep

life moves along

mommy dusts daddy's urn
older sister is in love
brother has a new life
baby not a baby anymore

life moves along

old woman joins her mate
sister feels it getting late
brothers too buzy to be blue
new pupp chews a shoe

life moves along

This has a country song feel to it. The truth makes for some of the greatest songs although so much hurt has to happen to make one it seems sometimes. I loved this poem and it seems unfair that so many tragedies have come your way. Yet you manage to write beautiful poetry that always speaks of the good things. You are one strong woman Nessa and an incredible Poetess. Kie

The unending circle of life. Only the people and places change at times. It does continue, with or without us.

Life indeed moves along...such is the vagaries of life...very pragmatic and practical take on the slew of life.

A torrential stream
"life moves along"
what begins must soon end.

Great write!

Change is the law of life..some times sad changes take place while we are hoping for good..and life moves along....
"mommy dusts daddy's urn...older sister is in love..brother has a new life..baby not a baby anymore"...these are glaring changes.

Life's Merry Go 'Round......meeting ourselves coming and going...life moves along
Life hands many surprizes, many sad, some glad......but it's not the rain that falls, but how well you handle the swell.......my 95 year old grandma taught me that. After raising 10 children!
But Life moves on and 100 years for now....who will know. It's all vanity anyway!
Wonderful thoughful and honest write Nessa
Loved it as it nicely flowed along
Great!
love you too
