A love I try not to remember
Still, The fire burns true
I guess I'll never get over you

The ashes I try to leave behind me
Scattered them throughout the city
It never leaves me alone
The fact that I'm on my own

An icey wind always chills my spine
A love I called, That once was mine
The cold; so deep and blue
I guess I'll never get over you

A whisper so loud; it will never soften
I think of your face, so very often
I don't think you even know
How hard it is not to show

When you lay with her; do you ever
Remember when you promised me forever?
The tears I cry don't cease
My torment only seems to increase

And still you keep trying to deny
The way you make me feel inside...
A rose has shed its one last petal
A pain so sharp, like broken metal
I guess I'll never know what to do
I guess I'll never stop loving you...

Sadness and almost despair. Words written almost as though there were not even tears left... perhaps only my view.
