Child of the water's rippling seams
Come close under starlight's graceful beams
And tell me of your wonderful dreams

Willowy breeze flutters down, spiraling in its descension
from your slightly parted lips
in their smile.

(Daniela_Maria_Violin)

a smile that transcends all that is beautiful
as I stroke your hair as gently as possible
while you lay in my arms asleep
the smile remnants of the dreams you keep

(Stitch)

stir gently into your dreams
descend into the joy of slumber
let peace envelop your soul

(poetrygodslove)

The wind blowing in my hair
the sun shining in my face
blue skies and no clouds
what a wonderful place.

The ocean blue
the seagulls flying
the wind blowing
the sun in my face
blue skies and no clouds
what a wonderful place.

(LOWMAN613)

The beauty of the soft pettles from a rose,
the feeling of a little babys toes,
beautiful eyes of sparkling blue,
the beauty of a love so true,
The warmth of a lovers hand,
the beauty of a friend who understands!

(Jellybellyprincess)

Eyelashes flutter brilliantly
when you smile like you always do.
And though you may not see me here,
I know I always will see you.

When you walk
the doves fly
When you talk
the harps play
When you sing
you drown out everything.
Your my evening, morning,
and day.

Auburn songs of love
do paint thy skys above
with sparkling whispers

well done poetesses, I enjoyed all your beautiful poems..I am very much pleased to read when Daniela writes:
"as I stroke your hair as gently as possible

Excellent. I'm currently in the middle of my first group write, and I think these tend to outshine individually-penned poems, because of the collaboration involved in sharing a vision.
Thanks to you all for taking the time and effort, and who knows? Perhaps I'll be contributing my ideas with some of you one day . . .

Unique beauty describes this poem well ...as each of you have left a little of your inner light shining through
