The pain inside me

Contributed by spicey_one on Wednesday, 24th March 2004 @ 10:24:07 PM in AEST
Topic: goodbyepoetry

The Pain inside me wants to find you
Hunt you down and tie you up.
It wants to torture you
like you tortured me with your silence.

The Pain wants to see you
cry the same amount of tears
that made their way down my lonely cheek

The Pain has an urge to find something rusty
and stab you in the heart
it needs revenge for all the hurt
you put me through.

The Pain wants to set your soul on fire
and wait for me to heal
before putting you out.

However the Pain is smart-
it knows no matter how much it tortures you
It will never equal to
the sea of tears I cried for you.
the anguish and remorse I feel
for letting you in my heart.

No sword could ever do the damage
you inflicted on me.
The Pain knows this.
Yet it still wants to try.

The Pain inside me hates you.
But I still Love you.
