Array ( [sid] => 4003 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => *A Broken Friendship* [time] => 2002-09-19 06:13:17 [hometext] => I wrote this poem because I was really good friends with this one girl. But it ends up she wasn't what I thought she was. I found out every personal thing I told her she'd tell everyone. So I let her read my poem. :-( [bodytext] => All the happy times we shared,
And all the things we went through.
You were there for me,
And I was there for you.

But just this past week,
We had a big change.
I knew this was coming,
Yet, it still was kinda strange.

But I really think it's for the best,
I don't need a friend like you.
I think you're just jealous,
And there's nothing that I can do.

I found myself,
Unlike you.
But believe in yourself,
Cuz you will too.

I found my happiness,
I don't need someone who's untrue.
Just look at who you are,
I pitty you.

I thought you were someone special,
That you were someone I wanted to keep as a friend.
However,
I was really wrong,
You're someone I want out of my life forever.

You tell me off,
Asif I mean nothin'.
Let me tell you,
I do mean somethin'.

My friends see me for me,
You just cannot see that.
Am I suppose to care,
That you're a stuck up brat?

You mean nothing to me,
Though you did, once,
And this all came together,
Throughout these past few months.

We were once great friends,
I never thought that it would end.
But it did,
And I realized you're just not my friend. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 203 [topic] => 16 [informant] => Val [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 14 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => FriendshipPoetry )
