Array ( [sid] => 40008 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Being Thankful [time] => 2004-03-24 03:07:58 [hometext] => This poem i dedicate to God himself [bodytext] => As the night grew long,
i laid out on my front lawn.
Looking to the stars above,
telling God how thankful i was
for love.

I told God i was thankful for,
all things he has given me. He
gave me life, and a caring family.
He has given me choices to make
on my own, and he has let me
see things, that were meant
to be shown.

I am thankful for air that
i breath, and i am thankful
for the flowers and the sea.
Without all this the beauty
of our land, would not be.

To see a dear eating clover,
and to see a rabbit running
in the pasture. Are some of
Gods greatest gifts, and i
am thankful for all of this.

I thank you Lord for all you
have done, and i am thankful
for the favor of the day, and
for being able to have fun.

Most of all God i am thankful
for having you to look up to,
and for the sins you have washed
away. For i know without you,
there would be no other way. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 179 [topic] => 55 [informant] => Rylo [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )
