She's a _itch, no an angel.
How can this be?
She's a witch, and the spell
that she cast was on me.

The way into her heart,
she never has let slip.
The way into her nest?
Now, that's another trip.
Get a pair of good skates,
shabby ones can't hang.
Catch her in the quarter-mile.
Yeah, it's that kind of thang.

When she's got you hung out,
strung out and alone.
She'll say: " I'm hot and sweaty!
Why don't you take me home?"
When she's got you wrung out,
hung out on a limb.
She will put them skates on,
hit the walk,
and down the lane she'll skim.

Out to find another smile
who enjoys a race.
If you beat her quarter-mile,
you've earned yourself a taste.

So look out, all you would be studs.
Rank amatuers,
and roller disco thugs.
You might win,
but truth is judge.
She'll beat you in the end.

She rolled into my heart
with a slick legged stride.
