[bodytext] => When the last breath is gone,
Let not a tear fall from your eyes,
For it is not in my will to leave you so,
Not for a moment did this heart stop bleeding,
Since the day you are born,
I see your future and set to hold you while you walk,
The first step you make, the first word you say,
I remember, I keep, I enshrine, I hold
To this valuable space specially created for you.
If you may fall and cry one day,
Remember my words that you will get up once again,
A man who falls will always learn
A lesson more precious than any jewel
And sadly, my child, it is one you must know.

Oh my child, will you not forgive me?
All the times you cry, my heart weeps too,
How it tears and bleeds when my temper
Gives way to my devoting love for you
But yet, my duty, ah, the duty of a mother,
Is to guide you, correct you, so that you
Darkness shall not seduce nor tempt
You into a path of no-return.
Please do forgive the woman who
Once stung your pride with vehement,
Once reduced you to angry tears,
So hurtful that your punishment to me
Was to ignore my existence
And told me you hated me so.

Life it ends, as it should
And regrets there always will be,
But my child, your destiny is not meant
To reminisce, weep, and fall back on
These dusty memories meant to be blown away,
Your life is colourful, bright as the morning rays,
Not to fear the darkness for remember,
Where would dawn be without the night?

My life, it has brought you release,
My death, it should not enclose you so,
This love, it is your key to salvation,
To see truth, fight for it and support it through,
The greatest reward you bring to me,
Is to see you throughout your growth,
To hear your laughter, to feel your joy,
To share your sorrow, to wipe your tears,
To know that you will continue your path
To be a parent who one day will walk
The steps I once tread, see the scenes I once saw
Feel the pride I once felt, give the love I once gave,
Till death, you will carry it with you
Before life begins again.

I do not seek for your remembrance
For memory brings joy and pain,
Just remember what I taught and what I said,
Seek the joy in the memories of your childhood,
Seek not the pain in the memories of my departure,
But yet, we know where would joy be without pain?
And where would pain be without the joy?
Contradictory nature life is, hence,
Let me be selfish for once,
Seek your joy in life itself without me,
Seek your pleasure in life itself without me,
Trash my photographs in one drawer or burn them all,
So that the pain that comes with joy
Be reduced to an inkling of a dot.
