[time] => 2004-03-22 20:57:37 [hometext] => I dont know what this meant by childrens poetry.. uh, it was written by a child if thats what you meant which I guess it is? This is the first not angry poem Ive ever written and I know it sucks but I needed to get it out somehow, sorry if I wasted time. [bodytext] => Little girl all dressed in black
apears in the door
a tear streams down her face
she can bare no more
her big sister had just past
her brother left her too
the last words she remembers
is hearing I love you
that's not how she responded
because she knew that they where drunk
she let them drive away
saw the headlights and the trunk
five minutes later
she hears an ambulance
a sherrif comes and tells her
she says nothing
just stands
she goes back to her room
and bursts out in tears
she can't breath
this is beyond her fears
Never drink and drive
There's nothing worse than this
If you won't do it for yourself
Do it for your little sis... [comments] => 4 [counter] => 218 [topic] => 5 [informant] => Painful_Voice [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => ChildrensPoetry )

You're not wasting anyone's time by asking them to read or comment on this maturely-written poem.
Good R&R, emotive subject.
Good job.

Ur certainly not wasting my time by writing this and me reading it and commenting... it's great!!!
This is a great little poem... ppl don't think of what they're really doing when they drink and drive... of who's lives they are putting at risk besides their own... great poem... keep it up!!!
