and gently caresses.
Tears streaming down
her lovely face as she
watches me bleed in pain.
She tries to tell me that
everything will be alright,
but I can't hear a word
when I'm screaming all over.

An angel can only save you
if you will take their hand.

Here I lay in pain screaming
in the arms of a weeping angel.
And I can tell my pain is
hurting her too but I can't stop.
Pain begets pain in amplification.
Pain can grow and spread even
in the arms of an angel.

And I can tell I'm tearing
this angel apart just like I was.

I've cried myself to sleep as
she kissed my face gently.
A friend watched over me
while I was dying inside.
She kept saying it'll be alright
and that she'd hold my hand
through the cold dark nights in life.
She let's me sleep as she carries me home.

Well done, my friend. There's honesty in here, that I think many of us can identify with, on different levels.
Very well-portrayed.
